A different approach to the digital transformation

Davidson is at the very heart of the digital transformation (to use the current buzzword), which we have been experiencing and will continue to experience for several years. There are multiple aspects to this transformation: organisational, technological but also environmental (in 2020, consumption in the digital ecosystem reached 12% of global consumption and is set to rise 7% per year until 2030). It also spans multiple sectors, taking in e-commerce, e-health, autonomous cars, etc.

Facing such a diversity of environments and questions, we decided to focus our efforts on developing our ability to tackle digital subjects from end to end. Our assignments encompass ideation (digitisation of processes, new services), the creation of IS & data architectures, software design, data exploitation and analysis, conversion, project support and coaching.

In addition to conducting assignments on customers’ premises, there are also two “outsourced” offerings:

  1. Technical Office As a Service (also called Twister, and on our Singular premises for architecture, development, third-party application maintenance and data science projects)
  2. Brand strategy/E-commerce (via our digital agency Colorz)

A different approach to management

As well as the “what”, the “how” is very important to us. We prefer regular contacts, concrete actions and rapid developments, empowered by a management system structured around small teams run by tech-savvy managers who follow our principles (compiled in the Davidson Code 3). We develop an ecosystem rather than egosystems, for example by drawing on our home-made intranet, which is based on two artificial intelligence systems that give the Davidson teams the best of, well, Davidson.
